 OZIOMACHI RESUMES WORK AND COMMENDS GOV. ALEX OTTI FOR MOURNING CHIAMAKA WITH THE FAMILY.



Hon. Ibekwe Nnamdi Chimdi, popularly known as OziomaChi, has officially resumed his legislative and public duties following the burial of his late wife, Lady Chiamaka Joyce Ibekwe, on April 8, 2026.


In a statement marking his return, Hon. Ibekwe expressed profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, for his immense support and physical presence throughout the mourning period. The Governor's decision to stand in solidarity with the family was described as a significant act of leadership and compassion that provided much-needed succour during the bereavement.


As he returns to his responsibilities, Hon. Ibekwe reaffirmed his dedication to community service, noting that the overwhelming support from Nde Bende, the state government, and the public has served as a source of strength during this transition.
