ALAYI KINGDOM CONFERS THE TITLE OME NKE AHURUANYA I OF ALAYI ON HON. IBEKWE NNAMDI CHIMDI (OZIOMACHI)

On 31st December 2025, history was etched into the annals of Alayi Kingdom when His Royal Highness, Eze Richard Ejikeme Udensi, in the full exercise of his traditional authority, conferred the prestigious chieftaincy title of Ome Nke Ahuruanya I of Alayi on Honourable Ibekwe Nnamdi Chimdi (popularly known as OziomaChi), the Honourable Member representing Bende North State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly.

The conferment was not ceremonial pageantry, but a solemn recognition of visible, verifiable, veritable, and touchable performance—a rare but earned honour bestowed upon a legislator whose impact speaks louder than slogans, videos, or staged narratives.

“Unlike in the past, where projects existed mainly in pictures, videos, audios and propaganda, the developmental trajectory of Honourable Ibekwe Nnamdi Chimdi in Bende North is visible, tangible, and can be physically felt by the people.”
