SOWORE PETITIONS FLORIDA ATTORNEY GENERAL OVER WIKE’S ALLEGED UNLAWFUL PROPERTIES.

In a bold step underscoring his unwavering commitment to accountability and the fight against corruption, Nigerian activist and political figure, Mr. Omoyele Sowore, has formally petitioned the Attorney General of the State of Florida regarding properties allegedly acquired unlawfully in Florida by Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, CON.

Acting on the instructions of Mr. Sowore, legal representatives submitted the petition, which calls for decisive action from U.S. authorities. Specifically, the petition urged the State of Florida to:

1. Forfeit the identified properties linked to Mr. Wike,

2. Prosecute individuals involved in the alleged transactions, and

3. Impose a visa ban on Mr. Wike in line with international anti-corruption standards.

According to Mr. Sowore, the petition is not merely about exposing alleged acts of financial misconduct but about reinforcing a culture of transparency and accountability among public officials.

“The fight against corruption must be relentless and without borders. Leaders entrusted with public resources must know they cannot evade scrutiny, whether at home or abroad,” Sowore emphasized through his representatives.

This petition signals a growing trend in international collaboration against corruption, where jurisdictions outside Nigeria are being called upon to hold individuals accountable for illicit wealth and questionable property acquisitions.

By elevating the matter to U.S. authorities, Mr. Sowore has once again positioned himself at the forefront of advocacy for good governance, transparency, and integrity in public service. The outcome of this petition may set a significant precedent in efforts to combat cross-border corruption and abuse of office.
